Bridge Technician at Carlhag in Gävle

Job Responsibilities

As a bridge technician, you will start from the office in Gävle and then perform work on-site at our customers' locations. Your main tasks will include service, assembly, repair, and modifications of lifting equipment, which includes everything from hoists to complete bridge systems.

Our customers are located in Gästrikland, Dalarna, Southern Hälsingland, and Northern Uppland.

Since this role will involve working at our customers' locations, some days may be longer than others, overtime may occur, and there will be a few overnight stays per year.

Personal Qualities and Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of what is required to perform fast and high-quality service. Great emphasis will be placed on your personality, and to succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Experience in service, troubleshooting, and repair of technical equipment
• The ability to work independently and maintain a high service focus
• Experience in industrial electrical work (high school education or documented experience)
• A valid driver's license (B) is required
• Enjoys contact with new workplaces and people
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
• Basic computer skills
• Not afraid of heights as a large part of the job is performed at height.
